About AventVoice

Our client needed an application that would allow a user to make a voice recording on a Treo mobile phone and have the voice message sent as an email.

Key to the success of the product of was an application that was technologically advanced, but very easy to use.

The resulting application is easy to use, but has all the features needed.

 

Features

  • Automatic background sending of messages
  • Web service to forward those message to the target audience
  • Multiple technologies working well together.
 

Technologies

  • The Palm Treo development is C++ using PODS (Palm OS Developer Suite)
  • Message server is in C# (.NET 2.0) accessing a Microsoft SQL Server database.
  • Graphics* for the Treo include two versions of all screen objects for the Treo 600 and another set for the Treo 650

  •  

  • * All of the graphics for the AventVoice project on the Treo were done by Partner Outsourcing, but the web page was not.
